Duarte Troop 185

Troop 185B and Troop 185G participated at the San Gabriel Valley District Camporee at Firestone Scout Reservation in Brea, CA. This year we had three boy patrols and one girl patrol showcase what skills they have learned throughout the years. Our scouts got to test their skills with citizenship, knot tying, camp tools, first aid, etc… Later that day, our scouts rested in their campsites and played cards with our other patrols before dinner. We had a few patrols participate in the campfire Saturday night. Our girl patrol sang “The Cheese Song” and one of our boys patrols sang “All I Want For Christmas Is You.” At the end of the weekend all awards were announced for the camp, one of our patrols got second place and our other three patrols got first place.
