Duarte Troop 185

During the summer of 2023, four of our Eagle Scouts applied to walk in the Tournament of Roses Parade. Later that year Rudy Ramirez, Michael Custodia, Matias Brobeck, and Roman Bonilla were all approved to walk in the Tournament of Roses. In early December, our four Eagle Scouts took photos with other scouts walking in the parade such as others in Scouts BSA and Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles. On December 31, scouts from our troop camped overnight so that in the morning they could support our Eagle Scouts and watch them walk in the parade. Everyone that was there got to see all the amazing floats up close. The theme for the parade this year was “Celebrating a World of Music.”
